Hi Cameron, yep, using the more classic Desktop Display, and always with a wireless mouse, so more or less gotten used to this newer OS DLL2, but pretty sure will get around that. I have no problem using anything new in Windows 8 or 8. Two that numerous other users have mentioned I haven’t tried them are “classic shell” and “Start8”. That way you don’t have to operate Windows 8. For your convenience, try to make Windows 8 as usable as you can: use the desktop as often as you can and clean off your start screen and pin the desktop apps that you actually use on the front. So if you got some non-genuine version of Windows, that could be your problem.
